Fort Dummer State Park was named for the nearby site of a Revolutionary War fort (no longer remaining), and offers 51 campsites and 10 lean-tos among mature hemlock-oak woods, walking trails, play field, restrooms, showers ($), and trailer sanitary station. The park’s convenient location to Brattleboro makes it a great place to explore area arts, shops, and events. Located just off I-91 Exit 1, US Route 5 N(1/4 mi.), to Fairground Rd. to Old Guilford Road.
